"Our Buddy House" In Loving Memory of Buddy, Running on a Beach in Heaven.
  • CaliCalifornia ~ Unknown (SPCA Adopted) - March 6, 2011 (approx. 8 years old)

Her motto seemed to be "What are we gonna do now that's fun??" We miss her so much.
  • ChloeIllinois ~ April 29, 1995 - April 9, 2007

From the time I first fell in love with 10-week-old Chloe, I would sometimes wonder, "How will I ever live without her." Sadly, now I am living without her. She was almost too good to be true, and I loved every minute I was lucky enought to have her. She was truly my partner. Words are not adequate to express it, but suffice to say I could not love or miss her more.
  • CooganKansas ~ Unknown - January 20, 2005 Aussie Rescue (ARPH) Dog

Loved by his "foster Mom" Coogan was every bit what an Aussie should be despite his epilepsy. He loved every person he met and left a lasting impression on them. He was always ready to try anything and go anywhere. Coogan was my shadow. he taught me about patience, never giving up and most of all courage. When you looked into those beautiful eyes you could see what a gentle loving soul he had. Coogan will have a special place in my heart forever. Run, be happy my little man for we will meet again over the rainbow bridge.
  • DakotaIllinois

He was owned and loved by Tammy and Roger Stried. Dakota suffered with his illness almost his whole life and finally lost the battle. He will be missed by all who knew him!
  • DeiselIllinois ~ Aussie Rescue/Adopted Unknown - November 25, 2009
  • EmmettNew Jersey ~ Rescue Dog, January 15, 2005 - May 6, 2008

It is with extremely sad hearts that we tell you, Emmett is gone; no doubt, now graced with angel's wings and soaring carefree in the heavens. After having overcome (or at least taken in stride) a life filled with genetic mishap (deaf, epileptic, IBD), and seemingly winning the battle, his tired body could take no more. While our hearts break for our loss, we are relieved for him that there will be no more suffering. We are truly grateful for the unique gift we had in him. His love, affection and perseverance will stay in our hearts and we know that his short time on earth blessed many other lives as well - patients, students, neighbors, family and friends. Thank you for allowing us to share the experience of Emmett with you. We can't believe he's gone. With deep sadness, Marsha & Steve.

  • Jack AngeloTexas & Washington ~ November 10, 2009 - November 13, 2013

Jack Angelo is a blue merle Australian Shepherd with a love for life grander than anyone I've known. He suffered much in his short life, though. He did not let his epilepsy keep him down and is an inspiration to his family and to all those who know him. He is strong, kind, agile, athletic, talented, loving, loyal, and fiercely protective. His personality can fill a room and his presence with sheep was undeniable. he spoke to them, silently, and they always listened. Herding is in his blood and no training was ever needed to show him how to herd. He loves his mom deeply and our connection is unbreakable. He is my heart and soul. He decided it was time to rest after only three short years with me. He is still a huge presence to me daily and I miss his beautiful face and character.
  • JankoNew York ~ July 23, 2008 - May 14, 2010

Janko had his first seizure at 15 months of age. Janko may not have had a long time on this earth but he made a lasting impression. He was an amazing companion and an incredibly "cool" dog. He charmed everyone he met and was on his way to becoming a great disc dog. I wouldn't trade our time together for anything. There are no seizures in heaven...only discs to catch!

My baby boy was Luke...He died after having a cluster of 15 seizures. I had him under a vets care, as well as a holistic care. It started when he turned 2. We had three more years with him, and he died at home, with us by his side. I am grateful for that.
  • Maggie MayFlorida ~ March 21, 2005 - October 13, 2009

It saddens Vanessa and I deeply to pass this news on to our friends, we lost Maggie May this afternoon. But now she is free from the seizures and the other complications. We know our Molly was waiting at the bridge to help her cross.

    Fragile Circle

We who choose to surround ourselves with lives even more temporary than our own, live within a fragile circle, easily and often breached. Unable to accept its awful gaps, we still would live no other way. We cherish memory as the only certain immortality, never fully understanding the necessary plan. --Irving Townsend

    Never to be forgotten.
  • OzzieMassachusetts ~ April 30, 2006 - March 26, 2008

Ozzie (Oswald Pickles Emerson) was a smart, lovable friend. His frisbee catching skills were unbelievable, and we'll never forget how he would find the lone snow bank in the yard to sleep on. He loved to be outside, and to lick the hands of his baby "sister". Ozzie was a quick learner, a great friend, and a reliable guard dog. He will surely be missed by all who knew him...even all of his doggie buddies who he played with in the yard. Sleep well, good buddy.

You were a lifetime dog. You touched us so deeply that we were transformed. Although your ashes lie beneath the mountain laurel, we will always picture you racing around the yard, "talking" to us in huffs and grunts over something that excited you. We will always miss you but we know you are finally at peace.

I will always hold in my heart her playful puppy ways, her undying love and affection she gave me and her chirping to let me know she was always there. I will love her forever! Johanna

  • ThunderAlaska ~ August 13, 1996 - June 8, 2006

    And now I'm glad I didn't know
The way it all would end, the way it all would go
Our lives are better left to chance, I could have missed the pain
But I'd of had to miss the dance. (From The Dance, by Tony Arata)
  • TobyCalifornia ~ February 17, 2002 - November 19, 2009

You are missed and loved more than words can say. He was brave and loved life until the end in spite of this cruel disease. He inspired us always! He is free now. He never complained and was so happy for the littlest thing you did for him. He was the sweetest, smartest and most loving dog we have ever had the privilege of knowing and sharing our lives with. For my husband and me, he was more than just our dog...he was our boy! We will miss him every day for the rest of our lives.
