The Canine Health Information Center launched its DNA repository
in April 2006. This DNA repository accepts both cheek swabs and
blood samples for storage. This can help speed the research into
many diseases, including canine epilepsy, by allowing multiple
researchers to apply for access to the samples. Toby's Foundation
encourages you to send a blood sample to CHIC. Toby's Foundation is pleased to announce the availability of
donation announcement cards. With your donation to Toby's
Foundation, we will send our a lovely announcement card to the
person you specify. The card will tell them you have made a donation
for Aussie epilepsy research in honor of or in memory of that
special person or event.
